Youth who are guilty of misdemeanor and status offenses such as theft and alcohol or drug use can use this program as an alternative to the traditional juvenile justice system to rebuild their lives and get back on track. Based on the concept of restorative justice, youth attend educational seminars with their parents, perform community service and other restitutional activities. Depending on the nature and type of offense or referral, youth may participate in one of three tracks: Diversion, Diversion Plus or Integrated Diversion.
