Dear NYFS Supporters,
It is exciting to be headed into the summer of 2023 and to be looking forward towards NYFS’ future. We are entering into an exciting period of growth and deepening of our partnerships across the region.
We are thrilled to announce that the City of Arden Hills is a returning supporter of our mission, and we have expanded our School-Based Mental Health Program to the St. Anthony New Brighton School District, bringing an embedded model of therapy services to two more partner cities. We continue to expand our mental health services and address service gaps in our area thoughtfully.
Our day treatment services are also growing as we respond to the closures and downsizing of agencies that have provided these services alongside us. We are dedicated to meeting the critical needs of our region and recognize the importance of ensuring comprehensive care for youth that enables them to remain in their communities.
This month, the NYFS Board of Directors is launching our Strategic Planning process for 2023-2026. We couldn’t be happier to have our goals and budget for the next fiscal year in place and to be looking towards the future of transforming lives. The process will include staff, board, and community stakeholder involvement and feedback. In September we plan to hold an event to invite all of our supporters (that means you!) to come together to hear about the next chapter in NYFS’ story. I hope you will join us!
