Dear Friends of NYFS,

First of all, I want to thank you for such an incredible show of support at our 2024 Leadership Luncheon in honor of Mental Health Month in May. It was powerful to have so many partners and supporters in the room for our first luncheon since 2019. We missed you!

At the event, we enjoyed a compelling program and were excited to share our success in continuing to offer innovative, client and community-driven services that are effective for individuals and families. It was a wonderful way to honor all the people that make it possible for NYFS to live out our mission. We couldn’t do this without our partners, donors, volunteers, and most certainly our staff and their loved ones. The need for our services has never been higher, and we are rising to the challenge and meeting that incredible need with your consistent support. It felt really good to be in space together again!

NYFS is dedicated to being responsive to our community’s needs, and we are thrilled to have input from our community about where there are opportunities to expand access to care. With sustainable funding from the Office of Justice Programs Crime Victim Services, we have now officially launched services in our Restoring Power Program! This program serves children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced or witnessed domestic or sexual violence. We know there is a lack of resources for these services located in northeast Ramsey County, and we are proud to expand access. We want children, adults and families in our community to be and feel safe, and to have many opportunities for healing. These programs offer legal advocacy, case management support as well as individual and group therapy at no cost to victim-survivors and their families. Read more to learn about this team and the unique services we are providing in our region!

Thank you for your support of our mission: transforming lives by ensuring access to care that nurtures healing, cultivates community and inspires hope.

Sincerely,

Angie
