The NYFS team includes licensed independent clinical social workers, licensed graduate social workers, licensed marriage and family therapists, licensed psychologists, a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, a registered art therapist, advocates, and graduate interns working under clinical supervision. Who leads NYFS?
Angela Lewis-Dmello, MSW, LICSW, serves as President and CEO. Sarah Lockhart, MSW, LICSW, serves as Clinical Director, and Abbie Lane, MSW, LICSW, leads our community-based programs.
How do I find the right therapist for me or my child?
You do not need to choose a therapist yourself. Call 651-486-3808 for a short initial screening with our Client Services Coordinator, and we will match you with a provider who fits your needs and schedule.
Does NYFS train interns and students?
Yes. NYFS hosts a supervised intern cohort with students from programs across the country, all working under the guidance of licensed clinical staff.
