Ashwak Hassan is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), educator, researcher, and community advocate. Dr. Hassan holds a Doctorate in Leadership (Ed.D.) and specializes in neurodiversity-affirming care and family-centered mental health services. Her clinical approach integrates evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), play-based therapy, family systems theory, and strengths-based interventions to support emotional well-being, resilience, and personal growth.
Dr. Hassan has worked in schools, nonprofits, and community organizations to expand access to mental health education and support, particularly for underserved and culturally diverse communities.
