Becca received her Master of Social Work from the University of Minnesota and is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW). She works as an Outpatient Mental Health Therapist at our Shoreview location and her practice is informed by the social work code of ethics. Becca brings experience working with youth & families experiencing changes in family dynamics, trauma and emotional dysregulation. She has an interest in the areas of anxiety & depressive disorders and self-esteem work/empowerment.
Becca emphasizes a strength based, client centered approach with a focus on client’s self-determination. She maintains a sense of curiosity, empathy, compassion and acceptance throughout her work. Becca utilizes a trauma-informed lens to strengthen her therapeutic alliance with her clients. She aims to create a welcoming and safe place that validates the client experience and allows clients to process at their own pace.
