Dawn received her Master of Social Work from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 2014 and is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker. She has over a decade of experience working with children, youth, and families in both urban and rural areas of Minnesota. Dawn views therapy as an opportunity to restore, heal, and nurture the mind, body, and spirit. She brings a relational worldview and a culturally informed lens to help clients build meaningful connections with themselves and others.
Dawn takes a holistic therapeutic approach that integrates both artistic (heart-centered) and scientific (evidence-based, mind-centered) modalities tailored to each client. She practices person-centered, solution-focused, and trauma-informed care aimed at deepening self-awareness, mindfulness, and intuition to promote balance and harmony.
Her areas of expertise include trauma (historical, secondary, and health-related), neurodiversity (autism and ADHD), depression, anxiety, grief and loss, attachment, domestic and sexual assault, adjustment to change, identity and belonging, chemical dependency, and foster care and adoption.
