Joannah Bluntach (pronounced “Jo an nah”) is a board-certified Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with more than 10 years of experience providing outpatient mental health care and medication management. She was born and raised in Minnesota and passionate about serving her local community.
Joannah began her studies in Minnesota, earning her Bachelor’s degree from the College of St. Scholastica. She went on to complete both her Master’s and Doctorate degrees at the University of South Alabama in 2015. Since then, Joannah has dedicated her career to breaking barriers to care and de-stigmatizing mental health. She is committed to supporting each client’s individual goals, growth, and unique journey, and is grateful for the opportunity to help others improve their mental health and well-being.
Treatment Approach
Joannah’s treatment approach is collaborative and tailored to each individual’s needs. She offers both medication management and psychotherapy, utilizing modalities such as psychodynamic, supportive, solution-focused, integrative, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and person-centered therapy. She strives to deliver culturally sensitive, non-judgmental, and holistic care. Together, she develops a treatment plan that may include therapy recommendations, FDA-approved medications, and alternative options as appropriate. Joannah also values collaboration with each client’s care team, including therapists, pediatricians, and primary care providers.
