Olivia is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) who holds a master’s degree in social work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. At NYFS, Olivia works as a Clinic-Based Therapist and believes that healing happens when people gain insight into how their thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and actions interact. When working with clients, she takes a trauma responsive, client-centered approach, honoring that everyone’s healing journey looks different and moves at different speeds.
Olivia received graduate training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and is currently completing specialized training in Child-Centered Play Therapy. She enjoys incorporating somatic tools, such as mindfulness, breathing exercises, and movement into sessions to help clients feel grounded in their bodies. Olivia is especially passionate about working with children, teenagers, and young adults as they navigate anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
