Samantha is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) who received her master’s degree in forensic social work from Aurora University and a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of St. Thomas. Samantha’s expertise involves working with victim-survivors of severe harms, including (but not limited to) homicide, sexual assault, stalking, domestic violence, and general crime.
As a Domestic & Sexual Violence Therapist in the Restoring Power program, Samantha works primarily with youth ages 4-18 that are impacted by harmful behavior. Her goal is to create a safe space for youth to navigate the effects of trauma. Samantha delivers trauma-informed, person-centered care to her clients by being a supportive, empowering source in their growth journey. Utilizing empathy and compassion, Samantha works with clients to process traumatic experiences, recognize the complexities of intersectional trauma, address unwanted behaviors, integrate healing practices, engage in healthy relationships, and to expand capacities for resilience & healing.
